Prepare for difficult moments:
Identify potential triggers and how to care for yourself when emotions are overwhelming.
-
Identify your support:
Know who you can turn to for understanding and connection when you need it most.
The holidays may not look the way you hoped.
But you can approach them with greater safety, support, self-compassion, and choice.
"I was in pure devastation and hopelessness. I felt betrayed by God and all alone. I locked myself in the spare bedroom and did not talk to anyone. I knew I had to do something; I could no longer live like this. In this community, my anxiety has lessened and I know I'm not crazy. I've found support and connection like I’ve never had in my life. I've set boundaries to feel safe and and am confident I can change them as needed.

What to Expect During Holiday Survival Strategies

More Than Information.
Meaningful Connection.
These live gatherings are where we move beyond learning strategies
to experiencing the encouragement and support of women who understand.
And all of this is completely free.
“I figured I'd join just to observe.
Those meetings brought so much compassion.
Doing a grounding exercise and naming feelings without putting on a brave face was brand new to me. I was allowed to exist just as I was.
During one of those meetings, I felt a distinct, inexplicable connection with another woman on the screen, who has since become one of the biggest blessings in my life.”
— Erin

MEET YOUR GUIDE
Hello! My name is Kristin.
I know firsthand how painful the holidays can be after sexual betrayal. Two of my most devastating discoveries of my former husband's betrayal happened just before the holidays. While the world around me was celebrating, I was grieving, overwhelmed, and trying to create meaningful holiday memories with my young child while my own world felt shattered.
My healing journey eventually led me to a Christian therapist and a community of women who understood betrayal trauma. There, I began learning how to process my grief and experience God's presence in the middle of a life I never would have chosen. Today, I'm the co-founder of Living Truth and founder of Women in the Battle. I've walked alongside women healing from sexual betrayal since 2013.
I created Holiday Survival Strategies because I don't want you to feel as alone or unprepared as I did. My hope is to help you navigate this season with practical tools, greater compassion for yourself, and the freedom to make choices that honor your healing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to attend all four live Zoom gatherings?
Each gathering offers a different opportunity for encouragement, reflection, and connection. Each meeting will build on the previous one. You'll get more benefit the more you can attend but if you can only attend one that's ok too.
Will recordings be available if I can't attend live?
To protect the privacy of everyone participating, our live Zoom gatherings will not be recorded. But you can still participate in the five-day experience through the daily emails and guided reflection worksheets, even if you can't attend a single gathering.
Will I have to share my story, speak, or turn on my camera?
You don't have to speak to benefit from our gatherings. You're welcome to simply listen and receive encouragement. You don't have to turn your camera on. We just ask you to participate from a private space to preserve everyone's confidentiality.
How much time should I set aside for the worksheets?
Each day's worksheet will guide you through practical reflection and help you build your personalized holiday survival plan, one step at a time. You can move through the questions at your own pace. Each one should you about take 10-15 minutes to complete.
Is this for me if my discovery was recent—or happened years ago?
Yes. Whether you're facing your first holiday season after discovery or have been navigating the impact of betrayal for years, this experience will help you consider what you need in this season of your healing.
