What's included with my registration?

Your registration includes the complete MIB Intensive experience: experiential teaching and guided exercises, coach-led small-group processing, lodging for three nights, meals from Thursday evening through Sunday morning, beverages, materials, and scheduled activities.You’ll arrive Thursday between 4:00 and 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The Intensive concludes Sunday at noon.

What should I bring?

Bring everything you’ll need for three nights at camp, including:Bedding or a sleeping bag and pillowTowel and shower suppliesYour normal toiletries and medicationsComfortable clothingOutdoor or hiking shoesRain gear appropriate for the forecastEarplugsAny snacks you would like between mealsYou may also bring fishing or disc golf equipment if you’d like to use it during available recreation time.

Question 3

I'm flying in. What do I need to know?

Accepted Answer

The closest major airport is Indianapolis International Airport. Camp Allendale is located in Trafalgar, Indiana, south of Indianapolis.Transportation between the airport and Camp Allendale is not provided, so you’ll need to arrange a rental car, rideshare, or transportation with another participant. Plan your flight and transportation so you can arrive at camp between 4:00 and 6:00 PM Eastern Time on Thursday and depart the camp at approximately noon ET on Sunday.If you are flying with limited luggage capacity, you may request a loaner sleeping bag, towel and pillow by filling out this form no later than 3 days prior to the event start date.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Participants stay together in a climate-controlled, lodge-style setting at Camp Allendale. Sleeping spaces and bathrooms are shared, so come prepared for a simple retreat environment rather than private hotel accommodations.Specific room and bed assignments will be provided when you arrive.

Is a scholarship available?

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we can receive tax deductible funds. In many cases, generous MIB members donate funds specifically for the MIB Intensive because they know how life changing this event was for them and they desire to pay it forward. We recognize that some men face significant financial circumstances that could prevent them from participating in the MIB Intensive.
